How to Move Money from PayPal to Binance
There is no direct PayPal-to-Binance transfer. Here are the three routes that do work, what each costs, and which one to use.

There is no direct transfer
Binance does not accept PayPal as a deposit method, and PayPal does not let you send money to an exchange as a payment. Every guide claiming a one-click route is describing a third-party service and usually earning a commission on it.
What follows is what genuinely works, cheapest first.
Route 1: PayPal → your bank → Binance
The cheapest and slowest.
- Withdraw the balance from PayPal to your linked bank account. Free in most countries; 1–3 business days.
- Deposit from your bank to Binance by SEPA, Faster Payments, or whatever your region supports. Usually free and same-day.
Total cost: close to nothing. Total time: two to four days.
If you are not in a hurry, stop reading here. This is the answer.
Route 2: Binance P2P
Binance’s peer-to-peer marketplace lets you buy USDT directly from another user, with Binance holding the crypto in escrow until you confirm payment. Some sellers accept PayPal.
- Open Binance P2P and filter by PayPal as the payment method.
- Pick a seller with a high completion rate and a large order count, not just the best price.
- Place the order, pay through PayPal, then mark it paid. The escrow releases the USDT to you.
Cost: typically a 1–3% premium built into the rate. Time: minutes.
The risk is specific and serious. PayPal payments can be reversed for up to 180 days. A scammer buys crypto from you, receives it, then files a chargeback and keeps both. This is why many experienced P2P sellers refuse PayPal entirely, and why you should never sell crypto for PayPal. Buying is the safer direction, but pay through PayPal’s “goods and services” only if the seller agrees — and expect most not to.
Route 3: PayPal’s own crypto, then transfer
In the US, UK and some other markets PayPal lets you buy crypto directly and, crucially, withdraw it to an external address.
- Buy USDT or BTC inside PayPal.
- Use “Transfer” to send it to your Binance deposit address.
- Check the network carefully — PayPal supports a limited set, and a mismatch is unrecoverable. See TRC-20 vs ERC-20 vs BEP-20.
Cost: PayPal’s spread is wide, typically 1.5–2.5% built into the price, plus a network fee. Time: under an hour.
Which one
| Cost | Time | Main risk | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank transfer | ~0% | 2–4 days | None, just slow |
| P2P | 1–3% | Minutes | Chargeback fraud |
| PayPal crypto | 2–4% | ~1 hour | Wrong network on withdrawal |
Use the bank route unless you have a reason not to. The convenience of the other two costs about 2% each time, which compounds quickly if you do it monthly.
One thing to check first
Binance does not serve every country, and in some the fiat rails differ from the ones described here. Confirm your region’s deposit options in your own account before planning around any of this.
