Privacy policy

Short version: there are no accounts, no tracking cookies and no analytics.

What we collect

Nothing. CryptoMarket.study has no accounts, no sign-up, no contact forms that store data, no analytics scripts and no advertising trackers. We do not set cookies, and there is no ad network, no tracking pixel and no profiling anywhere on the site.

What your browser stores locally

The site uses your browser's localStorage for two things: your light or dark theme preference, and a short-lived cache of API responses so the same data is not requested repeatedly. Both stay on your device, are never transmitted anywhere, and are cleared when you clear site data.

Third parties your browser contacts

Live data is fetched by your browser directly from public APIs. Those services necessarily see your IP address and the fact that a request was made, as they would for any website that loads data. The full list is on the methodology page and includes CoinGecko, Binance, Bybit, OKX, DefiLlama, mempool.space, alternative.me and public Ethereum RPC nodes.

We do not send them anything about you beyond the request itself, and we receive nothing back from them about you. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Wallet connections

The "Add to MetaMask" buttons talk to a wallet extension already installed in your browser. They request only that a network or token be added, and nothing is transmitted to this site. We never see your address, your balances or your keys, and no page here asks for a seed phrase or a private key — if any page ever appears to, it is not ours.

External links

Links to exchanges and other services are ordinary links. They carry no tracking parameters, so following one tells the destination nothing about you beyond what any click from any website would, and tells us nothing at all, because we run no click tracking.

Changes

If this policy changes — for example if analytics are ever added — the change will be described here before it takes effect.
